F150 lariat 2004 - wiring problems - please help!
Hey everyone, hope someone can toss me some advice about the issues with my old truck.
I don't drive it much, but my 2004 f150 v8 lariat has had electrical problems for a while now. I've finally decided to tackle them.
First, I believed my radio was a drain on my battery so I disconnected it.
When I apply the brake there is an extra click sound coming from in the cab somewhere.
When I do not have my headlights on, my turn signals both work properly, when have headlights on, my left turn lights don't work and there is no routine clicking. The right side seems to work.
I decided to check out the wiring so I removed some panels, I immediately found chewed through wires. I uploaded a picture. I believe the purples all bunch together and the black is possibly a ground? I can't find anywhere else they might go and I know less than nothing about wiring.
I plan to replace some fuses even though it looks really clean in the fuse box.
Has anyone had similar issues? Any help is appreciated.
