Fuel pressure data?
When trying to read the fuel pressure on my 2007 F150 using the Torque app, I get no data. The reader works fine on my 2003 Mustang, so I don't think it's a problem with the app or reader. is it simply data that is not available or do I have a problem with the sensor that should be sending the information to the OBDII?

More likely than not, its probably either not defined correctly or not at all within the app as you've got it configured.
Your '03 'Stang is probably pre-CAN, 03-05 were model years where Ford was making that transition. The PIDs probably changed when everything went CAN-bus. |
O k :)

I don't think fuel pressure is available on the '07 F150. I feel like if it was, the ScanGageII X-gages would also include it.
1. The PCM has to have FRP data in order to operate the FPDM. 2. In the PCED's diagnostics tests for FRP-related DTCs, the instructions explicitly state to monitor the FRP PID for data. It's in there, it's just a matter of the app or whatever accessing it. |
FWIW...My Actron scanner shows Fuel Pressure for my 05...
