Question Engine Swap Kits?

Does anyone out there make engine swap kits to make it easier to get rid of the 5.4 3V in the future in our 2004-2008 trucks? I have a 2006 and love it, truly can't afford another new truck but would like to have the option to replace the engine at some point with maybe a newer Coyote engine or even a 6.2L from a later superduty. Anybody thought of this or tried this? let me know! thanks

i have never heard of swap kit per say. a 6.2 swap might not be that bad, motor mounts the same, transmission would bolt up. i dont think it has variable valve timing. getting the dual fire spark plugs to work would take some ingenuity.

if you needed the 6.2 pcm to run it, it would be hard to also wire in your old 5.4 pcm to control your tranny. dash cluster, PATS. dont think anthing would be plug and play.

the coyote would be harder imo because of added variable valve timing on the exhaust.

your in uncharted territory...

I don't think there is enough demand to make a kit. You're the first person I have heard of that ever mentioned it. The only questions I see are about replacing the engine with the same engine from another year model.
