stupid u joint
 

So a few years ago I replaced my Ujoints on the rear drive shaft of my 2004 f150. They were tacked on and I had to buy the kit that comes with the cutting tool that afixes to the ratchet and you scrape em out and replace the u joint afterwards with supplied clips.

I just took it in for a safety cuz I will be selling the truck and was told the front u joint on the rear driveshaft was gone.

Can I buy a u joint with clips instead of that stupid kit again. My dealer wants $211 for each u joint.

Seems to me .... I recall someone saying the only way to get the joint was with the cutter ..... but you might look at Neapco website & charts?
