05-07 injector upgrade; Bosch Ev14 (08+s)
Found this on ebay, then looked it up on tasca and rockauto. Looks like in 2008 ford changed back to bosch made injectors instead of the problematic dekas used in the rest of generation.
bosch part # 0280158138 or BOSCH 62402 $25.79 on rockauto
ford part number 7C3Z-9F593-A
not sure what the difference for 04 is. read the change over was january 2007? to the bosch injectors. is the 08 GAS (non e85) fuel rail and injector harnesses the same thing? Havent seen anyone post they have done this before.

Both ebay links should be the exact same injectors.

Unless yours are clogged, or have actually gone bad, these won't do anything performance wise.
Yes, they directly fit. No fuel rail difference for fitment. No harness plug difference.
If it's a known issue the originals fail, and yours has higher mileage, may not hurt for the peace of mind. Remember to always replace o-rings, no matter how good the old ones may seem. Thin coat of Vaseline does wonders when putting the injectors back in.
