Pros, it looks like a ram air hood. Cons, it's not a functional ram-air hood.

I had a functional ram-air hood on my 98, expensive and the fit was not as good as the oem hood. Never really saw much of a gain hp wise, actually got more of a gain from the cai I installed later. They seem really cool when you first get it but they quickly loose their luster.

Ram-air doesn't add anything to the modern engines like it did to 70's-era carb'd muscle. The Cervinis hood is the only one I much cared for, with the Shelby Super Snake hood coming in a close second. Either way, I don't feel like it's worth the cost unless you just REALLY have to have the look. I prefer the Roush add-on hood scoop over the ram-air hood.

I'm a huge fan of the Saleen hood. But I might be biased

Not a ram aim but the hood vent is kinda functional. More for getting heat out instead of ramming air in.

Agreed on preferring the Saleen hood to all others, I didn't include it since it wasn't technically a ram-air design, but a heat-extractor design.
