8 inch rize just arrived!

Just got my 8 inch rize and couldn't be more excited to have it put on. my only concern is that it didn't come with new rear shocks, should this be a concern? Other kits i have seen pictures of seem to have the shocks included. this might be a dumb question but any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Nice, want to see it when it's done! You'll definitely need longer rear shocks. How does rize achieve the rear lift (add a leaf, blocks, or both)?

Rize uses 6 inch blocks for the back. I wish it was AAL but for now at least ill be alright. Ill definitely keep posting pictures! install should be in a week or two, because i just ordered my rims, tires, and bilstein 5100s! Nick, do you have any idea what shocks that i could purchase that would fit?

I'm running 5.5" procomp rear blocks with the procomp mx6 adjustable shocks. I'd think any rear shocks setup for a 6" lift will work on your 8" rize. I had originally ordered bilsteins but they were on back order so switched to the mx6. Can't complain to much about them, the adjustability is nice, they were holding water inside the boots until I used hose clamps instead of zips ties on them. They're rusting after one winter, but that tends to happen to everything in Buffalo. Just a heads up on the tall rear block, I had major axle wrap with the 5.5's, added road master active suspension, helped a ton.
