Will ATV fit?

Hey all,
I have an '06 Scab with 6.5' bed. Picking up a new ATV. Does anyone know if a 2014/15 Grizzly will fit in back with tailgate shut?

I would have to say yes but the tailgate would have to be left down.

I'm going to say no since a Grizzly is 6.8' long.

I could get a 2007 Grizzly 700 in the 6.5' bed of my 03 F150 with the tailgate shut and that is with 26" tires on the Grizzly. I even had enough room to stack a couple of 4" x 6" fence posts (4" thickness out) before the front tires to keep the front bumper out of the back window of the truck. The Grizzlys don't look like they have changed too much.

Good to know... I just looked up the specs on a 2007 Grizzly and it says length is 81.3". I'm getting a new Kodiak and the length is listed at 81.5", but that has 25" tires so it may work. If not, I can always strap in with tailgate down, but it would be great if it could close. Definitely will put something between the ATV front and rear cab window. Thanks.

If it doesn't fit with the tailgate shut, at least make sure the tailgate has some weight on it. You don't want your tailgate bouncing around. Or use a strap to close the tailgate as much as you can.

I've had to deal with this a lot with my 5.5' bed. My 400EX fits in the back with the tailgate closed, but my Suzuki LTZ400 is just too long. If I pull a trailer that's loaded, I have to make sure I put the 400EX in my bed because I can't pull the trailer with my tailgate down.
