Fog Lights/Headlights Issue

Hi, Thanks for taking a minute to try and help me out here. My brother has a 2007 Fx2 f150. He recently put in new headlights and fog lights.

Headlights are starnill led 40w per bulb. They come with ballasts and are plug and play. Fog lights are led. First put in fog lights with stock halogen headlights everything was normal. Just put in the headlights today, now when turning on JUST fog lights the high beam indicator symbol is just faintly lit up.

When running low beam headlights and turn fogs lights on the high beam indicator gets brighter but not all the way but is very noticeable. When i pull back to flash to pass nothing happens. When i push it forward high beams go on and high beam indicator lights up all the way.

With headlights on only no fog, the high beam indicator is off completely.

I did some searching. Was reading about the trucks saftey system could of been tripped because the bulbs are pulling to many watts? Maybe I need a relay harness? I aslo read that it could be something with the way its grounded. Any answers would be helpful.

Thanks

Yes, but that's not my issue though. Problem is when my regular beams are on and i turn on the fog lights the high beam indicator comes on. It doesn't come on as bright as when i apply my high beams but the indicator is still plenty noticeable. Just wanting to make sure I didn't connect something wrong. I don't believe I did because it was very straight forward.

Thanks

I have the same problem, however I'm running a 24" lightbar off my fogs too. The high-beam indicator comes on dimly lit when my fogs are on with the lightbar and my high beams do appear to come on. Physically pulling back or forward on the left stalk to turn on the high beams kills my fogs and lightbar as it should, but the highbeams appeared to be on even with them off when my fogs are on.
