So, curious, did the 15W45 actually clear your P0012 and p0022 faults?

Yes, no fault codes. Engine runs absolutely smooth. Changed it with a MANN filter

Replaced tires today. Originals were almost bald.

Purchased a used set of Wrangler Duratracs.

Got them for a great deal! (10% of retail cost with 75% tread depth left).

Brought it into a friend's garage.

Wheel removed

Mounted 2 wheels

For some reason, the third or fourth wheel wouldn't mount on. Turns out that I was sold 2 tires from a 17" and 2 from an 18" (the one I need dor ny truck). This had never happened to me before (my lack of due diligence).

Not a big deal as I sold the 17" tires within an hour for what I paid and found another 2 tires of the correct size just north of Edmonton (3.5 hour drive from my place).

Road trip begins. Also purchasing a transmission on the way (2.5 hours) and returning my old transmission from my '04 FX4 (core swap).

Picked up the rebuilt transmission

As well as the tires

Swapping tires first thing in the morning tomorrow.

Also ended up purchasing brand new sensors for the transmission. (Transmission Speed, Turbine Speed and Digital Transmission Range.

Sorry to hear of the 2004 issues. Nice upgrade however. Looks exactly how my truck looked when I bought it. Black Lariat, with chrome pkg.

Just showed the girlfriend this pic, she can't believe it's the same truck .

Rebuilt transmission installed (Had someone else install it so no pictures). Seems to be working fine so far. Got the truck back!

Purchased all the parts for the timing chain and tensioner including VCT Solenoids and Cam Phasers for a total of $999 USD. Will have time in the New Year to get those done.

Whats the plan once it's all fixed up? Are you going to keep it or flip it?

After I am finished with the vehicle, I am planning on selling the truck marketed towards the U.S. market. I will be driving it on a daily basis until it is sold (Have to enjoy it!).

Sorry for the late updates, my attention was needed on other aspects of my life and I have exceeded my vehicle budget due to other vehicles requiring my attention.

Due to the request from a few of you, I will show what I've been up to in this post.

Removed carpet and renovated the floor in the basement.

Renovated a washroom.

Purchased and installed caliper covers for my Genesis.

Started to run out of screen space so purchased a second monitor to replace my main monitor.

24 inch LCD display.

34 inch LED Ultrawide display.

Brought home another vehicle to add to the stable (2006 Infiniti FX45).

Replaced the fuel filter, transmission filter, and the transmission pan gasket. Drained and filled new transmission fluid in the process.

Replaced the LED backlight on the On-board computer for the BMW.

3M vinyl wrapped my roof black on my Genesis

Will be updating my main post once I have some time free.

Got an opportunity to take a picture of the underside of the truck. This is the rebuilt transmission installed.
