I知 planning to swap a 4.6L and 4r75e from a Grand Marquis 2006 in a F150 4x4. I知 looking for 2006 F150 that needs an engine. Anyone did that? Can you help me?




Is it difficult to swap the transfer case tail from the 4r70w to the 4r75r? Thanks for your help.

 

The base engine is the same, so there should't be much more than swapping intakes and possibly some other accessories to swap engines.

As for the transmission part, the input shaft is the last part to come out of the transmission, which involves a complete rebuild. In other words, get a 4wd F150 trans.
