Need Part Number

A little confused. Need correct part number for fuel filter for 2007 5.4 FFV. Book says fram G8018. Tried this and the tubes were too small. Checked on line and it too said G8018. Any ideas or anyone else run into this? Thanks in advance.

Well Fram recommends G10166 for a non FFV on a 2007 but for a 2007 FFV it recommends G8018. Now if you look at a 2008 like I have it recommends G10166 for FFV and non FFV.

Not sure but I wouldn't have thought the fuel systems changed between 2007 and 2008 soooooo maybe try the Fram G10166.

Now if you go with K&N it looks like one fuel filter part # fits both systems and both years but if you look at Wix filters they have the same problem as the Fram, 2007 has two different sizes of fuel filters and the 2008 has the same size for both fuel filters....weird.

I went from a K&N fuel filter on my 2008 non FFV and got a Wix at the autoparts store. Not sure what the hell they gave me but it was too small and leaked gas everywhere so I went back to a K&N...or you could get a Motorcraft.

I honestly wouldn't put Fram anything on my truck. The motorcraft filters can be had for less than $10 online.

I hear ya on the Fram. I ve
heard some say the fuel filters are ok. I use only MC oil and oil filters. I wanted the right fram part # or any part number to cross reference and get the right part. It is a cast iron 3itch to get everything off and find out you got wrong filter.

When i took my old filter off and compared to new filter, the G8018, my old filters tubes were larger diameter. Guess when i go to do it again i'll just yank old filter and take it with me like some newb.

I did a search on rockauto for your 2007 5.4 flex fuel, the motorcraft part number says FG1083. It also has alternative part numbers listed as:
Alternate/OEM Part Number(s): 2C5E9155BB, 2C5Z9155BC, 5PE8620CB.

$12.63 for that one.

There are 2 different filters, the FFV takes the one with the larger of the 2 line sizes.
