Fuel Gauge Fuse?

2004 Ford F150 Lariat 5.4 3V

I installed leaf springs the other day, and my fuel gauge was fine when I pulled the tank down a little to get the front bolt out of the left leaf spring, but, when I put it back up, the fuel gauge reads below empty.

I thought it might be the gauge itself, so I put a 100ohm resistor in the harness along the frame, and my gauge moved up to a little more than half tank. So the gauge is fine.

I lowered the tank again, and checked all the plugs and hoses, everything was tight.

Do you know if the fuel pump and sending unit are on the same harness on top of the fuel tank? Is there a fuse I could check? I don't know where to find it...

There is no fuse specifically for the gauge sender.

That's what I thought, I looked through the fuse I.D. chart, and didn't find anything...
