Probably not, from other posts I've seen here about the hesitation problem, what I'm experiencing couldn't be from the FPDM not working, if it didn't work at all, my truck'd stop where it was, wouldn't it?

On a personal note, are Ford engineers stupid? You'd think placing that module maybe inside the cab or under the hood would be better, right? What's wrong with them?

Sure, but in reality, aside from those rare times when you pull into a fuel station and see the fuel truck there/leaving, you have no idea if they were there 5 minutes before and you're getting "contaminated" fuel. So aside from those handful of times when the fuel truck is visible, it's pretty much impossible to avoid, and in reality I don't think it's much of an item to worry about.

When my FPDM went, it cause hesitation problems for about 2 weeks before the truck died.
As far as fuel trucks coming and going, Common Sense! Clean gas is never a guarantee. The only guarantee in life is death, unless you know Jesus personally as Lord and Savior! But that's another web post!

Just changed mine and feel it was an original 133,000 mile Motircraft filter that I replaced with another Motorcraft. The liquid and residue that came out looked exactly like yours in color. I had read your post before doing mine so I expected it but can confirm it was just like yours.

After reading other posts on this site, I changed mine and emptied it into an empty water bottle. It looked exactly like yours at 65k.

I went with a napa gold as the replacement.

Only problem I had was I broke the clip on the wiring harness while unplugging the fuel pump. Any suggestions on a work around? I currently have a zip tie wrapped around the re-joined harnesses (man I love zip ties).

I know Jesus personally, he lives with his wife and kids down the street. I don't speak with him much because I don't speak Spanish and he doesn't speak much English. He does landscaping and gets paid under the table.
