cobra muffler?
cobra muffler?
I just wanna start off saying I'm new to the forums, so not really sure how this works. I have a 2005 f150 XLT with the 4.6L. I have a supper 44 muffler on it now, but I wanna out a cat back dual exhaust. I like the magnaflow magnapack muffler but cannot find them anywhere online or in stores. Atleast for the f150. They do have the for the cobra mustang though and wanted to know if I could use that muffler and get a y pipe for the dual exhaust. Any information would be helpful thanks guys.

I looked on magnaflow's website and I don't they refer to them as maganpacks anymore. It's just a round body muffler.

x2. You want the universal muffler ( like your Super 44 is ) for your truck. I put the Magnaflow muffler #14419 in my truck in a shop fabricated 3" mandrel exhaust with dual 2.5" tailpipes ( also mandrel ).
The term Magnapack refers to the shortest & thinnest muffler by Magnaflow, which is the 4" round 14" long case. Since then they have off road series mufflers that are much smaller, and they even made 6" long 4" round mufflers. Now a days the mufflers are pretty much left nameless and identified by part numbers, and are referred to by their cat-back kits.
