2004 scab fx4 Radio won't turn off with key out

2004 f150 scab fx4 Radio won't turn off with key out
Hello all, I'm new to the site.
I have a 2004 f150 fx4 super cab and the other day my battery was dead when I came out to start it after sitting for 5 days. I charged it up and the same thing happened again the next night. The next day I noticed the radio was turning on by itself when I would reconnect the battery after charging it and also the radio does not turn off when I remove the key and shut and lock the doors. Door ajar light functions properly, dome light functions properly so it is not the door switches.
I have scoured the forums and keep reading about 2 purple/violet wires that are spliced into one on the driver side back door wire channel that are rotted and it fixes this problem by cutting away bad wire and resplicing them. I have no such purple or violet wires being spliced and going from 2 wires into 1. I cannot find it any where. I have noticed every one posting this have Screws, are the wire colors different? or in different spots on the Scab?
I also pulled the relay R02 for accessory delay and swapped with another one and nothing changed. I pulled fuse 31 for the radio power for now so my battery doesnt keep dying, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if this applies to your 04, but my nephew has a 99 F250 that the heater fan would turn itself on and drain the battery when the pickup wasn't running. Eventually traced problem down to a defective GEM module. Has any one else heard of this happening?
