Question on 4x4
Question on 4x4
I have a 2006 Ford F150 STX.
I have manually operated 4x4, but I noticed that I have vacuum lines around my hubs. So my question is even though I have manually operated 4x4,but I still have vacuum lines that operate my hubs? I know its a stupid question but I just don't know. The last truck that my family or myself owned was a 1982 ford f150 and it have manually operated hubs and 4x4.

Yer lever operates the transfer case. If you don't have to get out of the truck to manually engage each hub, yer front hubs are vacuum-actuated.
