(cooper at3's, wooh!)

yeah, no lift or anything. Well besides the whole acceleration thing it would make the speedometer almost correct again
Looks good! I have the same tires a like them. Sometimes I feel I have too much wheel well gap! Here's a pic. Anyway, not to sidetrack, back to your question!

Well I guess I'll just post a quick update to this
Ended up not bothering with swapping the entire rear end, couldn't find one worthwhile. After awhile of contemplating it decided to bite the bullet and put 4.10's in and get a tuner. But not one to back down from a bad reason to buy new tools I figured, why not do it myself! So over Easter this year, got all the tools/parts and did my homework about the entire process. Took a day off work so i had a nice long 4 day weekend and did the entire swap. (not being a man of complete confidence I had located a spare axle and had an extra bearing kit just in case I royally buggered it to pieces)
Either way though, gave her a good 500 mile or so break in, and she drives like a dream. Since then i've put on about 4k on the odometer, and everything seems to be holding up well. When I finished the rebuild i had a little bit more baclkash than i would have liked (right t the edge of spec) but the pattern was decent, and in the back of my head I'm figuring I'll pop the cover back off at 100k (at 93 now) and check to see how everything looks. and if the truck stays together long enough. I'll pull the carrier and put in a locking diff.

Thanks again for the advise guys, I'll be sure to be on and off as I continue abuse/fix the the truck more. (I've possibly got some serious towing ahead of me possibly next year with a house move impending)

I love the Cooper AT3's have them on my 03, man they're the best value for the money in my opinion for winter driving.
Did you find your axle?
I have a buddy that works at a local yard, if they don't have a part I need he can locate it elsewhere on a network. Perhaps one of your local yards can do this?
I've also used this website to search for used parts:
