Yeah, I seriously upgraded in that dept...

Actually the Supercab was chosen over a SuperCrew with kids in mind. They can't open back doors that are dependent upon the fronts to open... Also why I opted for a 40/20/40 split bench up front...

That BDS lift looks well made but boy that is a pricey kit... Especially considering it doesn't come with front struts...

Me too aka single. no one can tell me what i can or cant do ha.

That's good thinking with the scab. But don't the screws have the child safety lock?

My '04 has door and window locks. I roll with 3 kids (ages 1,3 &4) back there all the time. Never a problem.

Just installed BDS 4in kit gave me 5in in front of my 08. Awesome kit everything fit perfect and very high quality I'll post pics after my wheels come in

We do have those switches in the door jams that allow the rear doors to open only from the exterior when unlocked. Along with master window lock, and a power slider gives you even more command. Supercrew works out to me for kids. I don't have any, or any plans too soon. In fact I don't even need the Supercrew cab or a 4wd truck in general, but I love having it!

Ya my 02 had all that, plus the back window only went down about half way. I remember my dad's 98 expy had that. The dang thing kept locking, so when i was in the back i could never get out ha.
