Got lift & tires on
 

Finally got it all on i hate the way the ride feels , i hate the fact that it turn worse than my peterbilt 386 , the transfer case makes noise when i dont let truck come to complete stop before switching gear ......

its the 1st time i go with a lift n tires like this.
is it normal that when im rolling at around 10-15 mph i feel little vibrations in my feet? my guess was its from from the tire thread ?? and at 40-50mph the steering shakes so i gotta get rebalanced

KM2s virbate like hell, so that's the explanation for that.

Not being mean here, but most of those things you don't like are symptoms of a lift and overly aggressive mud tires, so what exactly did you expect? If the T-case is making noise now, something was already wrong with it. Switching gears? It's best to be completely stopped before putting it in 4WD anyway. Shift on the fly can be done, but it's better to stop.

to be 100 % honest i was expecting the basic ride like with my stock 22s . Its not the end of the world , i mean its done and ill keep it. was just wondering if it was normal symptoms of feeling the vibrations in the feet (not over the top vibrations , but its there)so thanks for clearing that up

Go to a less aggressive tire. Truck looks good.

Oh, well yeah, mud tires aren't gonna ride anything like street tires. Those KM2's are literally one step away from full-blown military tires. You got like the most expensive mud tires available haha. Toyo MTs probably would've been better, but Nitto Terra Grapplers or another all-terrain would be much, much smoother. I bet those tires howl like an airplane on the freeway too.

For the steering vibration, has the truck been aligned after the lift? Steering shake is symptomatic of unbalanced wheels/tires. Mine do it at 55-65 cause I have two slightly out of true wheels.

Looks really good! Whick lift did you go with and waft size? Also what are the specs on the rims and tires?

My Toyo M/Ts and Nitto Trail Grapplers are very smooth at cruising speed. Only knobby/vibration feeling is at low parking lot speeds and even those are light.

What lift is it? Looks like a 4" but I can't tell. Very nice '07 HD though.

Yes , its a 4 inch rough country

Rims are 18x9 (0mm offset)

and tires are BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 35x12.5

Put your old tires and rims on if you have and compare. I've never had the BFG Mt's on any of my previous trucks, but did have a aggressive Kelly MT on an old truck and it rode like a buck board. Totally destroyed the ride of the truck and slightly stiffer shocks didn't help either. If you find the tires to be 80% or more of the ride issue you might be able to sell on Craigs and get something different.

I will say that my km2's rode smooth when new but now with 40k miles on them they ride a little rough and cause the vibrations and the turning radius is an outcome of the lift. I too was surprised after i put my 6" rcx on how little my turning radius was.
