Yeah, I thought there was like a 2% chance you hadn't thought of them, but figured I'd ask cause they weren't mentioned. Sometimes they act up, and it only takes 1 you know? I had a plug go out literally 7 miles after the change. It just happened to be a bad plug I guess.

Yeah, it's not unheard of. I've done a cylinder head 3 times on a cat 3406 at work to finally get one that worked.

I don't think it's the plugs, but if I pull the coils to inspect, I may as well pull the plugs as well. That way I can cross both off the list.

Another update. Slight miss fixed... I had previously replaced my #2 coil. I had not put the new coil back into the #2 hole when I did the phaser job. So today I swapped 1-2 and the miss is gone. I will be replacing all the plugs this coming weekend. May even do all the other coils as well.

The truck feels like it has a fresh engine. Good power throughout the band again.

I knew the grilles looked good on these trucks, but I was a bit hesitant to have something "chrome" on a silver truck. Silver has the tendency to eat chrome up. I was wrong. It adds just the right touch I believe.

Thanks guys. The bug deflector will be getting taken off I'm favour of some 3m wrap. Just gotta get the front bumper repainted first.

I do really like the look of those grilles.

Well, noticed at about noon today that someone decided to throw an orange at my truck multiple times last night. It ended up getting baked on there pretty good, and took me almost an hour to wash it all off. Needless to say I was furious. No other vehicles were hit, so I'm hoping it's not targeted. I don't think I've pissed anyone off lately.

But I've got it all cleaned up, and inherited a topper, and bedrug. Not completely sold on the topper. But it's already ptm, and to be honest I don't usually haul too much.

I've honestly never had an issue till last night. What's wrong with just sitting back and admiring the work someone has done? I would have never thought of doing that to someone else's ride. But the younger crowd around here seems to have no morals at all. And use younger lightly.

Bed box? Haha. Two of the same? I don't know? Ha. Long day. Got the tick cured. #8 forward intake rocker. Lash adjuster was good still, just the roller piled. I will be doing all 24 in the coming months, with cams. Just needed to know if I could get the noise to stop without going further.

I can't remember what those things are called, but the camper-top type thing? I've never seen that on your truck.

edit: Missed the captions between pics on "inheriting the topper." I was just like "where did that come from?!"

I'm not sold on that either, kinda makes it look like an old(er) person's truck. But free and already PTM are big positives!
