Getting the 295/60/20 open country at2's installed today. Tire shop is stating that they rub on the control arm on one side, and the brake line on the other side. Also apparently not at full lock. The brake line is not a big deal as I can route it out of the way. Has anyone else has this issue with a stock rim? I have a feeling they are trying to get me into a set of rims as well.

I can have a set of wheel spacers here monday(I'm gone for holidays for a week without the truck, so it won't be an issue on driving it until they get installed.

Went and checked them out. Doesn't hit the brake line anymore, and the control arm just barely touches the side lug.

I will get better pictures soon...

When you get invited to a wedding(gf is the moh) on a farm, to camp afterwards, do it in style.

Nice tires! Glad they fit well enough.

What is moh? Mother Of the Husband or something? Didn't think you were old enough for that haha.

Well, some issues are popping up. I've noticed intermittently my 2-3 shift almost misses at wot. I will hit the shift point and it will rev for a split second, almost as if it hits neutral, then grabs third. I've always thought something may be up with the trans, but I always figured it was from me driving nothing but manuals.

Also, dropping from drive to second always felt a bit spongey, but not as of late. May have to take it in to the trans shop for a diagnosis.

Anyways, wanted to post these in here as well.

Not much has happened lately, aside from ordering lifters and lash adjusters. But I've had headlight parts sitting around for a few months now, just shrouds, rings, and new boots for the back. I've had a really intermittent moisture issue in the passenger side headlight. I'm talking very very small. Well, no better time to pull them out. I also needed to get a ballast warrantied, due to a bad flicker when turning the lights on.

I pulled the headlight apart in question, just don't know what route I will take with the heads now. Chrome shroud/signal, flat black everything, or gloss black everything.

Switching from Gatling 2 shrouds to Apollo 3. Also need to talk to Sammy about some xballed rings...

I do like the a3. Very stylish. Also just ordered 100mm amber xb led's for inside the a3, and 80mm white xb led for the fronts from Sammy. May steal some styling cues from his set with the angled fronts.

I will leave the a3 chrome, but may change from the flat black to a gloss.

I figured it was going in that direction with the halos! The Apollo 3.0's are awesome shrouds. Good choice.

Thanks Sammy! When I ordered the shrouds a few month ago, I wanted something bigger than the gatlings. Can't wait to get these back together as well.

Decided to throw this in here as well. Weather tech floor mats. Best floor mat out there!

If all goes well, I'll have the parts here from Sammy in the next day or two. Then some fabbing, resealing, and then reinstallation. Also ordered a pair of these...

Green lettering and orange halo part. I was hoping to source a green/white but the apparently don't manufacture a green/white. Anyways, those will go next to my LED light bar switch(same brand). Spot to be decided.

Still trying to figure out which cams to order. Trying to get a hold of a local tuner to find out how in depth he knows Ford tuning. Ultimately that's going to be the final decision on cams.

Well they are a bit pricey, but in my world(working at a freightliner dealer) they are cheap. Factory freightliner switches run about 50-65ish. So the 15 a switch isn't too bad. I just like the customness of them. I picked up the f150 LED light bar switch. This one...

I think I may mount all 3 in the coin holder. I don't use it ever since I hate loose change rattling. Plus it keeps it hidden, and the dash looking factory.
