Saw my old truck today!

Was over in the next county heading to my kids H.S. bowling match and lo and behold my old truck pulled up next to me at a stop light. My wife snapped a quick pic with her phone.

From everything I saw it sure looked like it, it had the chrome over plastic roush grill, the painted lariat flares, the mark LT handles, the dual rear exit magnaflow, factory 20's with 35" trail grapplers and kleen wheels dust shields, AVS in channel vent visors, and 09+ fender badges.

Thats cool. I saw my old truck 40 miles north of me one day. Wanted to follow the person and chat with them but didn't want to be a stalker type. It still had this sticker on the back window

I still wonder if the new owner has ever got on here and found my ID and/or Youtube.

I did. I asked him where he got it and when. He replied that it came from John Lance Ford where I traded it in and he got it in late Jan of 12 which is the right time frame. I then told him that if the vin ended in 60000 then it was my old truck. My wife asked me later how could I be sure that it was my old one, and I told her does a mother know her own kids, that was definitely my old truck.

woohoo 3500 posts!

That's awesome. My wife wonders why I memorize the vin and plate #'s of our old vehicles.

Ha ha, I still remember the vin of a mustang I had almost 30 years ago. It was my first new car, so I'll always remember that car and its vin.

I sold my old 79 Bronco to an MP at Fort Leonard Wood when I was going to Korea back in 99. After I left post my wife saw them at the Post Exchange and ran up to him crying because he had my truck and she missed us both. They both ended up crying over it. I guess I taught her well. Its not just us guys that get attached to our trucks.
