lower or raise

I cannot decide whether to put a leveling kit on the front or lower the rear. I tow occasionally a 25ft travel trailer. I do not want to lose that ability. I inherited a 07 FX2 with 80k on it. It almost is like it just came off the showroom floor. I got 2013 King Ranch wheels with 275/55/20's for a song. Any ideas?

it's all in what you want, if you lower the rear and are woried about sag you can install helper bags.

You'll have to decide for yourself. I say raise, but it is a 2wd and they look good with 2" taken out of the rear too.

Lower the rear 2", better gas mileage and won't affect the towing.

I have the Ground Force rear 2" lowering shackle on a 08' Reg Cab 2wd STX. I also run 275/55/20 tires. It leveled out my truck & I have towed our sons Chevy Caprice many times with no sag or helper springs.

Raise is for income levels. Lift is for trucks.

I vote lowering

It's a 2wd right? If not married to the idea of a lifted truck, I vote to lower the rear 2" from stock and maybe the front an inch just to eliminate any semblance of "rear sag" .... or install "Air Lift" assist air bags for those times you want to haul with no sag. Also, look close at exhaust and make sure thee is clearance over the axle.

If you plan to tow, leave it as is. If the rake bothers you, remove the blocks in rear and go with the bags.

imo.. If you must do one of the two. 4wd you Lift, 2wd you Lower.

Why not just leave it alone and not lower/raise it?

If I could figure out to post my picks other than my album, it would be great to get your opinions of mods. The chrome door handles are going and I have no idea what to do with the hideous side steps...
