Thanks, Darren. I definitely am too. I've been enjoying the vast increase in attention it's received haha.

Thanks, PawPaw! You came when it was hot as all get out! But I'm sure it hasn't been much better in LA.

Actually it felt a little cooler in the Houston area. My wifes sister lives in League City and it rained just about every day...just like Louisiana. Right at 330 miles from my house to their's.

Huh, well College Station has been brushing up against 100 degrees every day this week and it's HOT. Also very humid.

I think this heat has been miserable just about everywhere. Heck, the needle's been hitting 100 sporadically here in Kentucky recently, which isn't typical for September. KMAC, were you able to get those little iron oxide specks off your truck? Meant to ask since I recently had another battle with that crap. It's the curse of a white truck I think.

And you were in League City and didn't bother letting anyone know... Gee thanks...

Oddly enough, yes it has been fairly "cool" in Houston / Galveston metro area this summer by comparison. It's usually brushing up and pushing over 100 for at least 10 days before September 1. Been nice. Hoping we will have a mild winter too...

By the way KMAC0694

You are definately making me want to hurry up and get the lift thrown on here. I think I would be money ahead though doing gears and lockers first, I already clear the 35s...

I've been meaning to do a thread on Iron X. It's AWESOME! It literally removed probably 90% of the iron pieces in my paint. I clay bar'd after, along with Nu Finish, and the paint looks better than it ever has in the 2.5 years I've owned it.

I'd think about doing gears and lockers first. Are you okay with how your truck shifts and whatnot with your 35s? Mine downshifts ALL the time on the highway and I really don't like it. I really want to regear as soon as possible, but have to have a shop in Houston do it because I can't find anyone in College Station to do it (well the one shop here quoted me $1350 for ONE diff!!). I really don't want to pay more than $900 out the door, but the lowest quote I've gotten was $1050. So Christmas is looking like the first time I'll have to get it done.

I'm also concerned about it being done correctly.

I sure have been, thanks!

It really is. It's gonna be a staple product now, along with Nu Finish, which I was also impressed with.

Nice clean look. You're truck may look good with some flares to tie in the black and get the tires covered (maybe factory flares)?

Thanks! Factory flares I'd consider, just to complete the "feaux by 4" look, but certainly no giant Bushwackers or anything.
