HVLP/paint/clear question

Hey guys, I can't stand the look of my plastics (cowl, fender flares ect). They are pretty weathered and soon I would like to PTM. I'm going to buy a cheap HVLP spray gun for the clear. What kind of clear should I use and where do you get it? Auto parts store? My second question is will a Ford dealership sell the matching paint in a spray can? Thanks in advance!!

If you are going to buy clear then buy the color too. If you're set on rattle can most auto paint stores can actually make spray paint that "matches" your truck or any other color. The biggest concern I would worry about is adhesion which is why I would go a basecoat/clearcoat using an adhesion promoter. Or bring them to my house
