Angry Water leak from third brake light

Well with the rain in my area the last couple of days I notiiced I have the dreaded leak from the third brake light gasket going bad.

Just get a tube of clear silicone sealant, seal it off. Works perfectly.

Buy a new one. Cheap, easy, and the gasket is improved on the new light.

I went with the new light. Something about siliconing it down seems like a rig to me. Even if it works what a pain if a bulb goes out.
