I'm getting ready to buy some new, larger tires for my 2008 4WD XLT Super Crew. I'll be using stock wheels for now and I thinking about NITTO 200990 TERRA GRAPPLER P285/70R17 117S. Any suggestions besides these or any opions on these for those of you that have used them before? I'm eventually going to put a 2.5" leveling kit on but not before I buy these tires. Thanks.

 

Those would be my recommendation for the best A/T tire. I've got 50K on mine and they've still got another 10-15K in them. The 285 is the perfect width on my truck, to keep from slinging rocks/mud on the side of the truck but sits even with the factory fender flares.

 

Ive got the same ones on mine except mine are 295/70/17. I love them and they have a nice aggressive look.

 

Yeah they sound like the right tires to the job and price.

 

I have the 285/70/17 nitto all Terran on my 05 FX4 and they are great! Look aggressive and wear good and ride well. They make the truck look nicer to!

 

Take a look at the Cooper ZEOS LTZ. Love the tire.
