backup camera question

So I just installed an aftermarket backup camera in my 07. The camera mounts on top of the license plate but that has to be the worst spot. I backed up to my trailer and had no depth perception. Is the tail gate or ford emblem better for this?

thanks

Absolutely. The problem with your license plate mount is that is is directly in-line with the hitch, so you lose the field of reference. I can put my hitch ball spot-on every time with the tailgate-handle location, and I'm sure the Ford emblem is decent as well.
