power steering troubles

ok so the 4truck is hard to turn, then very easy to turn then hard and when you got to turn back to straight is like i have manual steering.

did the research and found the steering shaft ujoint is the trouble

my question is the fuild resivor? does your fuild look like its boiling?

the fuild moves around ALOT..

is this normal..
it makes no sounds or act funny.

thanks

Internal seal on power steering pump failed perhaps allowing fluide to bypass back into the system prematurely causing bubbling in the reservoir? Does the conditions change at all while driving, more times than not while moving, if your PSP is/has failed its not that bad to turn; only when sitting still do you feel the added resistance. I would think if the ujoint is binding this would happen while moving or sitting still.
