Rain-X Latitude not fully contacting pass. side

Finally bought a set of these to try. Seem pretty nice. However, anyone else having an issue with them not fully contacting the bottom passenger side of the windshield? I bent the wiper arm in a bit, but it still didn't fix the issue.

Had a similar set of Botch blades. They did the same at first, bent the arm in slightly and it resolved the issue. With the Rain-X blades, no matter how much I try to bend the wiper arm in, it will just not contact at the lower edge, right where the window bends.

And yes, they are 20"

Mine are like that too. I'm not impressed with them to be honest.

even new 2012's with oem wipers don't touch on the last 1/2-3/4" on the pass edge down lower on the windscreen.

And if you bend them too much to clean that spot way over on the right hand side down low where no one is looking through ...
... you cause the wiper to try and lift the center when wiping the windshield up in the middle of the pass side where your passenger is looking through.

I have them and am happy with them.

Even the stock blades do it, I found that regular run of the mill rain-x blades work just as good as the higher end ones. I live in New England so I run winter blades as soon as December rolls around and they do it too. Its got to just be lack of pressure combined with the contour of the windshield. Maybe put in a tighter spring on the wiper arm if you want to experiment and see what that does?

That's what I have (the plain ol' Rain-X), and I'm pretty happy with them. Looking at them right now and they are touching the whole blade to the windshield.

Thanks for all the replies. Sounds like I'll just have to live with it. Not the end of the world, but for the price they should be perfect. I suppose it has less to do with the wipers and more to do with fords design. I'll see how they hold up this summer.

I had the rain-x on two of my trucks and wasn't all that impressed. I've since switched to the Goodyear Assurance blades, and those are probably the best blades I've used to date.

Had a set of rain-x blades on my girlfriends car. After a couple weeks they were missing the entire center of the windshield. Do not buy these blades it seems this is a common problem after I did some research. I run piaa silicon on my truck and they are great wipers.
