I've got the super 44 on my truck and I love it! I've got em coming out of the corners of the bumper though.

In my opinion the flowmaster mufflers make the best sound. If your really concerned about hp and torque loss or gain leave your factory muffler on. The design of the magnaflow is the same as the factory muffler and it will only be slightly louder with a muffler replacement alone. Changing pipe size and going to dual outlets will add to the sound though.

The factory mufflers are a straight through design.

Also, the link to which MGDfan posted was written by one of the most trusted, knowledgeable and successful F150 programmers/tuners in the country.

Oh yeah? Well I'll do ya one better'n that! I was wrong, too! So, does that mean we were BOTH wrong?

No. I thought the OP had an 09+ YM, but a good buddy pointed out that his is an '08...which DID have a 'baffle' type factory muffler. Not hardly like the Fartmaster design but baffled nonetheless.

So, were we both RIGHT?

Boy am I corn-fused! Methinks we just crossed over into....The Twilight Zone!
