My truck has almost exclusively had Chevron gas in its 126k life...I think maybe 2 tanks of other...I average 11.1mpg (hand calculated, dash shows 11.7) in my truck...I am in California so I pay alot more for worse gas...

I would hate to see the mpg's if I ran other gas...

I do notice a difference in Nevada gas on my trips to Nevada...P0430 codes...but better mileage. I average 300-315 miles per tank in CA, but can get 400 miles in NV. Although the driving is different NV.

Regards!

If you are getting P0430, you probably need new cats.

Try Valero gas - I get real good mileage on it in California.

I also call the difference is between winter/summer blends.

I love my SGII. On road trips, 70-75MPH Cruse Control, I get 20-21MPG. In the end, realistic consumption is 17-19MPG.

Yeah, 17-19 in "running around", some stop and go, etc. But on road trips without the stops and city stuff, have seen the 20 - 20.5 for 100-200 miles stints though I keep it 65-70.

That is one of the nice things about TX. the 70-75MPH is doing the speed limit!

I have never gotten good gas mileage. Just did a 200 mile trip down the interstate at 68 mph and got an average of 14.9-15 mpg. I have no clue why I get such bad mileage compared to others. Only thing done to my truck is exhaust, gotta mod, and that's it. Any ideas?
