2006 4.6 2V motor
Hey guys,
I currently have a 2001 mustang GT and bought a mint condition 06 4.6 2v out of a f150 with 50k miles, very clean motor. Previous motor had 100k miles on it and ran 14.20 @ 100mph stock.
This motor was very clean longblock so i added my manifold and timing cover for accessories, it was an 8 bolt so perfect match for my 3650 transmission.
I also added a few bolt on's, bbk h-pipe O/R, dynomax bullets dumped along with ac delete, and JLT intake. I have not yet run the car at the track but it feels quite sluggish to what it was before.
So my real question is what are the improvements and specs of this motor? As far as i know the the reason i bought a newer 4..6 was the added threads on the spark plugs. Is there anything else you could tell me about the block and heads, keep in mind the intake manifold and all it's accessories are from my car.
Any help would be appreciated.

the best. OEM ford COP's and motorcraft's plugs gapped at .40 because of a 100shot that is on the car. Could that make all the difference?I will put it back to .54 i've ran a 150 shot on stock plugs for 2 years no problems and once i get longer AN lines to my nozzle i will upgrade back to the 150 with some timing pulled.Just want to make sure this motor outperforms the old, it was mint and inspected before install, so there is no problems.
