Whats everyones EDGE AMPG reading? 5.4L

Mine stays around 13 city with up to 16 highway. Just curious as to what everyone elses is telling them again AMPG, not the useless instant one. I am curious to see how close mine is to everyone elses.

Honestly, I just use instant. It isn't useless, you get to monitor your mpg real time. Highway I average 20+ city 17-18. This winter I've been averaging 15-17 on winter blend with mixed driving. Hand calculated is the best way, mine was off by as much as 1-2 when first got my Gryphon 2 years ago.

I average anywhere from 13.5-14.3. I am at altitude though and gas here has 10% ethanol in it. I have my edge set on towing as buying premium at altitude is just a waste of money.

edge ampg are known to be 1-2 gallons high.....hand calculations and/or spreadsheet is better indicator of what your true average is....

BTW....every truck and driver is different....

Actually my AMPG is right on. I always fill up when I get gas and write the mileage on the reciept. When I get home I enter the numbers in a excell spreadsheet and it calculates the MPG etc. Mine has never been more than a 10th off.

I reset mine every time I get fuel, but I've seen 18.5 on the highway, done to about 7.8 when I was hauling firewood. Usually around 15/16 during the summer, 13/14 during the winter

I watched mine for a while on my Monochrome Gryphon. It read 17-19mpg continuously. When doing it by hand I still got 15-16mpg. Last tank I got 13.25. I quit watching the MPG and switched to Engine Load.

By hand calculation, I get about 11.5-12.5 mixed driving always, and once got 14.88 pure highway driving, and taking it easy. My truck has never gotten over 15 mpg for any tank that I have calculated, and I generally calculate every time I fill up. Truck is in fine shape and meticulously maintained too. It just might be time for a smaller 4x4. Anyone want to trade for 4 door Tacoma? No, seriously.
