Help indentifing plastic piece I found on my valve stem?

I found this part sitting on the intake valve stem. I have been having issues with my truck since an engine swap so I thought it was the intake butterfly system. I bought a new intake and was going to install it this evening. when I happen to look down I saw this

I got out my part fishing tool and got it moving around. And this is what I pulled out. It was sitting on the stem preventing the valve from moving about an inch. Any idea what this is and how that would make the truck run?

Part of the airbox

could it be a guide for a bolt in the airbox?

Regards,
Pete

It is plastic the guides for the bolts on the intake look to be brass. I have a new intake here and nothing looks even close.

So its plastic?

it looks similar to a lock for the quick disconnect for the fuel rail, but those are metal

Yes black plastic and it has a 1 with a circle on the bottom. I cannot find anywhere that it came from. I checked all the retainers and they are all still there. The weirld thing is I would figure it would have been detroyed from the valve movement but it is pretty much undamaged.

does it look like its broken off of something? You know what i mean, broken plastic on one side?

is it small enough to be maybe a retainer for an electrical harness or vacuum hose?
