I paid 1700 for my lift and the best deal on install I could find was 700. I figured it was worth it to buy a couple buddies some beer and steaks and do it ourselves. You can find lifts cheaper, maybe 1300-1400 for cheapest NIB. If you have buddies who can help, the install is pretty straight forward. Just take your time and follow directions precisely and you can have it done in a weekend at the longest.

06bluemeaniexl thats pretty jacked up. Yes there is a chance that this could be bs.. Anyone can get on a computer and make anything up but why call them out. Especially somethin like what you quoted. You think its bs cool, but there is things that should be kept to yourself

When we got there the sales man threw me the keys an said "it's yours". Not to sound like a puss or anything, but it almost made me cry. I'm 26 and had to bust my ***** working for everything I own in life; never had anything given to me like this. I have the title showing where she paid little over $18,000 for it. Truck has around 50,000 miles. I'm truly gracious for this wonderful truck!
I'm sorry to hear about your dad and circumstances. I don't know what your relationship with him wa, my Dad died after long illness when I was 15 in 1969, I can still hear his voice even today though.

As to the truck stance, I put it in a program, drew some lines, compared to others that are stock 06 4X4s, and your truck has either a 1.5 or 2" front leveling kit and the rear is actually pretty near stock when lines are drawn using the center of the wheels and the body lines.

Is there just a single 2" thick rear spacer at the rear between the top of the axle and the spring leaves? If so, that's stock.

You will do what you want, but I read your posts .... you just got the truck, you moved into it from a Maxima? Aunt had already purchased it? Had not consulted you to see if you wanted or needed a truck worse than maybe ..... a saving's nest egg towards a home someday maybe? You're gracious for the truck you haven't yet waxed and already you want to install a 6 inch lift kit?

I'm not questioning all that, I am suggesting that you just live with the truck awhile, get used to how a maybe mildly lifted 4x4 drives, reacts in emergencies, how it is to get in and out of daily, how handy or not the bed is for hauling, all before adding 6 more inches under it. I can tell you now that it's gonna love gasoline, that it's gonna eat brakes with big tires like that, you are gonna look at tuners and stuff, there's maintenance coming your way, and that truck wasn't owned by a little old lady before ..... there may be other issues that crop up like drivetrain or injectors or COPs, etc.

Hell, I just dropped my 4X4 near two inches from stock and it'll go anywhere there is to hunt here still that I would have taken it, and is a damn site easioer to load a deer, elk, or bear into.
