New truck pics

Finally got to take some pics of our new truck Saturday. Washed it and cleaned it up a bit since it wasnt raining finally. Not the best, but it was just a quick detail job.

My favorite pic:

Very expensive custom fit seat covers:

Also this is going on tomorrow, dont even have the truck a week and im tearing **** up:

Up next is in channel vent visors, leveling spacers, 09+ badges and the "Gotts" mod to the intake. Then i wanna get the flares painted to match the bottom, black billet grill, standard mirrors to replace the dumbo ears and maybe have the front windows tinted 35%. After that either a toolbox or a tonneau cover and 33"s. Still undecided on different wheels, 17s"s, after seeing the price of a 33" for an 18" wheel.

looks great. great candidate for a 2" level. the inchannel vent visors might give you some problems, the factory window regulators are kinda weak, adding those may or may not give you problems, seems to be hit and miss. do some searching on that and youll see what i mean.

all the other plans sound great. id stay with the wheels you have and put tires on them, they look great, and you dont have to buy them.

post up a want to trade thread in the classifieds for those mirrors, im sure someone will want to straight up swap mirrors with you.

Are the mirrors power? If so, I will trade you.

I dunno, once you've driven around for a few weeks with the tow mirrors, you may fall in love with them! Why didn't you go with dual exhaust?

No need for tow mirrors and i (and so does a few others that drove it) feel the create a blind spot.

As for why not duals, money and finding a cat-back how i want without being to loud wasnt happening. The exhaust shop is hit and miss on custom cat backs and i wasnt going to take a chance and have them F it up. Plus the muffler was a gift from my g/f and she got what she thought i wanted and i dont really want the extra noise or hassle involved with duals. This is a DD so i want it quite and pretty close to stock. I have two other trucks that are big and loud.

Why would duals be any louder than the single? It's the same muffler, to the sound is modified there, not by having extra piping. In any case, do what suits you. I'm not sure I understand what you mean by the mirrors creating a blind spot, they sort of, ya know, remove all blind spots that traditional mirrors are subject to.

The blind spot is out the front windows, hard to see cars when pulling out at an intersection.

And i think i explained why i didnt go duals with this particular muffler (exhaust shop sucks at custom cat backs, muffler was a gift and cost...this shop charges approx $350-400 and they dont have mandrel bends either).

I wasn't arguing why you went with single exhaust, I just countered the comment you made about duals being louder. Perfectly understandable to avoid the exhaust shop if that's all you have available.

Wow very nice truck. I like the two tone.

Glad I'm not the only OCD person that puts towels on both front and back seats.

Just to give you an idea of what it would look like with a leveling kit, tinted windows, 09 badges, the standard mirrors with painted caps, and 34s. And just a suggestion, dont do the black billet grill. I did a FX2 grill painted black and it just didnt look right with the two tone so I went back to my PTM h bar.
