What are some diff. Lift mods i can add FOR 37 OR 38'S?!?
 

I got a 6" rough country on 35's was wondering about some diff mods i could do to clear 37's or 38's and other mods i should do for tires this big...also some reviews on any of the flowmaster exhausts ..

You could do a body lift, which is a good way to get 3" of lift and keep stock suspension angles. If you can do the installation yourself, then that is probably the best thing to do, but if not then installation can cost over $1000. If you have a 4x4 then you can get a 2" or 2.5" leveling kit and an add a leaf in the back and be able to clear 37s with little/no rubbing. And on the exhaust, some people like flowmasters, others don't because they cause alot of drone.

I was unsure on the body lift just bc of peoples reviews but everyone has a diff opinion. I have a 4wheel drive. I just want to have more clearence so i can get 37's or 38's. Do the add a leaf run at a decent price? And the leveling kit just goes on top of the 6"

Why do you want a Flowmaster exhaust?

yep basically your only options are a 3 inch body lift, or a 2-2.5 inch leveling kit. the leveling kit sits on top of your 6 inch lift and makes the suspension angles worse. you won't see any imediate problems with it though. also most people re-gear for 37's or bigger.

i dont want it my friend was looking at one and ive read reviews from websites about them and others but i was just hoping to get personal reviews about any that yall might have

I would say you would want to go to 4.56 gears. Flowmaster is not a bad exhaust at all its more a matter of personal opinion if you ask me though. The exhaust you select will largely depend on the sound level you want to go with.


While many do not like the body lifts (myself included) for what you want to do it will be your best option. Just get yourself a quality kit don't go with the cheap one for this case.

You will almost have to regear with 37s or 38s. Either get 4.56s or 4.88s. I have 4.56s and 35s, and I love that combination. If you have the Rough Country 6" kit, then you have a 6" spacer on top of your stock coil overs right? I've always read that you shouldn't stack spacers, so I wouldn't put a leveling kit on top of the rough country spacers. You could put something like the rancho quick lifts under the 6" rough country spacers or get new coil overs like bilsteins and put a 2" leveling spacer on top of them to get 8" of lift in the front. I have had a body lift, and I don't plan to ever do it again. I just don't like them, and if you don't install it yourself it's cheaper to put a little more suspension lift on (spacers, add-a-leafs, shackles, etc). Labor cost on body lifts is a lot

Ok il look into those any range of pricing you know of for the coil over n leveling and the add a leaf or a webdite thT carries quality products? Also any websites that have aftermarket bumpers I want one to make the truck look a little more tuff but I can't find a website to carry any that don't look ridiculous..

I would do the body lift with it that's what I did on my 6" rcx lift and I think it looks a lot better than doing a leveling kit on it

I got an Iron Bull bumper. It has a winch mount (I don't have a winch yet, so I covered up the hole with the Cat plate) and it has 4 holes for lights

I will be doing front and rear Iron Cross Bumpers on my truck in the coming year. Some good bumpers out there you just have to look around for them but Iron Cross is one of the few with a rear bumper for our trucks.
