295/70/18 Nitto Trail Grapplers

I know this topic has been run into the ground and I apologize. I've been doing research on these forums for a month or so and just cant seem to get a straight answer to this question.

Will 295/70/18 Nitto Trail Grapplers fit on a leveled 2008 FX4 with a 2.5" AS leveling kit in the front and stock wheels??
Wheels are 7.5" wide and have 5.5" of backspace.

I would really prefer not to get new wheels cause I like the look of the stock ones, but I am worried about possible rubbing on the upper control arm. Rubbing on the fender can be fixed with a little trimming but Im not sure I could live with them rubbing on the control arms.

Anyone have this exact setup and can give me a straight answer.

Thanks a ton.

-Abe

You should be fine. Rubbing on the control arms don't typically start until you get to 305s on stock rims.

They'll fit no problem. I had that size in 17" on my old '05 with only a 1.5" AS and it never rubbed at all.

no chance you will fit those tires. they equate to larger than a 34. i'd stick with a 33" tire WITH A leveling kit.

They will fit no problem. There is no rub at full tilt.

I have an 05 fx4 f150 with a 2 in rough country leveling kit. I was wondering if the 295/70/18 trail grapplers will fit with no rubbing?

I got a 2.5" level with 20+10 rims with -12 offset on 35" mud grapplers. I only had to trim a small amount on the bottom of fender and slid the bumper foward a half inch. No rub and didnt have to trim wheel well. Cant even tell its been trimmed.
