I need to get a tune up as I am approaching 80,000 miles on my 2005 F150.

2 things I want to get replaced are:

Spark plugs and the gas filter.

Is there anything else that needs attention?

Review the maintenance schedule that came with the truck.

 

I've got 76000 on mine now and within the last year have changed tranny fluid and lower ball joints so you might want to think about those. If you are still on the OEM brakes and rotors you need to look at them too. I am also planning on doing a spark plug change soon.

 

plugs, trans fuild, check your ball joints, tie rods, transfer case diffs, brake pads, pretty well look at everything and see how stuffs looking
