need help identifying part!!

I need some help figuring out where is hose came from or what it attaches to. After going in the mud on Sunday i power washed the bottom of the truck and when i was near the front of the truck this hose fell to the ground with the mud and i have no idea what it goes to or where it came from. I would really appreciate it if anyone has seen this before or knows where it connects to. it doesn't appear to be broken on the smaller end but who knows. it might have not even been from my truck i was following other trucks in the mud it could be from on of them but either way i need some help..thank you here is a picture of what it looks like.

Definitely appears to be a plastic vacuum line but if it was from your truck I'd think you would tell from the way it ran. Normally a vacuum leak causes it to run crappy.

Code58 thanks for your input. I am going to pay close attention to the truck if it starts to run crappy or something doesn't work. Also going to jack it back up and check again

X2 on the vacuum line. Check your 4wd system, make sure it will still engage. Also listen for a rattling noise when your driving in 2wd to make sure that your hubs are fully disengaging

That crossed my mind as well even before I read your whole post. However, I did look at a few diagrams of the front axle assembly and it may be a differential vent tube (which you would not notice anything odd happening i don't think), or a vacuum line to the hub, assembly shows it being made of several links, so you will want to trace it from the wheel back.

Any Part #'s on the end of it?

If everything is still working fine on your truck, it could have been that someone else ripped it from there rig and then you picked it up in the mud.
