It sure does get hot in Florida. i love having 5% and the bigger strip makes a big difference bossman.

 

i would probably get pulled over every 20 minutes here in va with 5 percent on my windows. 35 will be legal here soon on the sides, im really trying to get some 20 action going on

 

I gotta buddy with 5 over 5 all the way around and 15 on the windshield on a 2000 extended cab Tacoma and has never been pulled for tint. He's been pulled like 5 times since he's had it and nobody seems to notice or care ...bit he also hasn't been pulled by fhp yet...haha I avoid fhp at all costs as they are the only ones that seem to care.

 

whats the tint law down there in FL? you guys think i can register my truck through one of your houses? lol, id love to be able to tint my truck and mustang dark as **** and pull the front plates off both.

 

i wanna say its 15% but not quite sure most cops are lenient about tint seeing how there cars are pretty dark themselves but your more than welcome to register through my house lol

pics didnt work. and yes i think he meant that he had 15 percent on his whole winshield. that would be a great setup if you didnt drive at night any, or if you did you did it in a well lit city. it think no amount of HID headlights and driving lights could get anyone around safely where i live with 15 percent at night. i have a friend with 35 on his whole winshield and we all think hes an idiot.

Fivespeed i hate to say but where i am from here in florida, central florida like tampa and orlando alot of people run 15% on their whole windshield i use to have 15% on my F250 and it was hard to see at night. looks great but i can barely see through my back glass at 5% now

 

i just cant imagine having 15% on my windshield. once my retrofit gets done, ill buy new a windshield since mine has a few chips in it and it'll get tinted 30%

 

just tint the whole thing! did 35% on my windshield and looks awesome

 

mines already 50%. he said do you want to do 50 and be safe with the cops, or do 30 and come back every other week.. but my sides are basically 1.75% and my back window is a touch darker so 50 makes it look great and i can still see at night but with retrofit hids im going to do 30 and shot gun it(brow on top and bottom)

 

I got the whole windshield done in 35% only cause im not a fan of the strip.

 

A guy I know has his front windshield tinted 5%
