My plug of choice is the Motorcraft. It performs in the modular engine, and if you coat the shank in nickle antisieze, it will come out. None of mine broke without the antisieze. They last for 70,000 to 100,000.

If you just have to go one piece, it seems the best luck is had with Champion. There have been at least three guys on here that tried the E3 and had to take them out after 3000 miles or so.

SP-507 or SP-515 (platinum vs double-platinum) either will work fine. Rockauto has some good pricing on them.

I used the one piece champions #7989 for the last 27000 miles. No problems.

What's the difference between Platinum and Double-Platinum? I've been given the SP-515's both times I've purchased them, but don't know the difference.

An extra coating of platinum and price.

Nope - a single platinum only has platinum on the center electrode, a double also has it on the ground electrode.
