BU Camera

So I'm getting a back up camera installed in my truck when I buy my system and I was wondering where everyone has mounted their camera. I kind of want a sleep hidden look besides the one with the camera popping out of the handle. And I was worried about the license plate one not being able to see the whole view. Any suggestions?

I do like my setup in the handle....... I used to have the one in the license plat on my old truck and it was just ok.

THe benefit of the one in the handle is that I can see the trailer tongue getting close to my hitch. With the license plate one it faced straight towards the back.....good if you want to see further away, but does not help much to see when you are getting close to other vehicles. Just my $.02

My Setup and what I recommend:

I just finished installing the 09-10 Ford emblem camera on mine. I still have to do the wiring though. Here's the how to I followed.

I have the handle cam too. In my opinion its the cleanest setup out there. I just didn't like the look of the emblem mounted cam, its too tall for my taste. And all the licence plate mounted ones looked kinda cheap to me.

Did you have to use a spacer for the Emblem?? And the handle didn't actually look that bad. When I googled for them I could only find chrome ones. Are there ones that are ready to be PTM??

Well I'm not too much worried about the price, more the look. I was worried that the camera would look icky especially on the handle but it doesn't look to bad. I've been hearing from a lot of people the handle is a better place for it, so I think I might go that route.
