Wondering if anyone else had this happen?
When turning the steering wheel, when parking, the truck sometimes stalls.
Has done it twice when going forward into a spot and once now, when backing into a spot today.

Anyone have this happen?

 

Yup. Once or twice. No idea what it was from or how it happened. What year/engine etc is your truck?

Mine hasn't stalled yet, but sometimes acts like it's about to in the same situation.

Sorry turck is a 2005 with the 5.4 triton.

 

08 5.4 under hard braking mine does this too, figured it was water in the bottom of the tank being picked up, have slight miss for a few seconds too until clears up...

 

My 04 5.4 does the same thing. I've noticed it backing up and parking as well as when I first take off out of the driveway. Also, when I come to a stop I feel it lose RPM's like it's trying to stall. I want to change the fuel filter and see if that helps.

 

change fuel filter, clean throttle body, clean air filter

last step would be checking your TPS (throttle position sensor) to see if it carbed up and is failing.
