I received this in an email from Ford. Are they replacing the injectors as the last comment indicates, or from my understanding, they just have the extended warranty?

"On another note, I would like to inform you that your vehicle is involved in the 07M08 Customer Satisfaction Program (CSP). This CSP is related to your vehicle's fuel injectors. In the interest of customer satisfaction, Ford is extending the limited warranty on the fuel injectors to a total of 11 years or 120,000 miles from the warranty start date, whichever occurs first. Please contact your Ford or Lincoln-Mercury Dealership right away to schedule an appointment to complete the work."

My original request to Ford was to see a detailed list of warranty work performed on my truck. I think my dealer is billing more than what I bring it in for. I never get paperwork from the dealership when I leave after warranty work, but do when I pay for service. This seems odd to me since I don't know what they actually billed Ford for. Ford states that only the dealer has records.

 

What year model is your truck ? Have you been having problems or is this another warranty extension like the converters?

 

It's only if you have an injector problem. This is not a recall, just an extended warranty for most of the 05 models.
