Truck shutting off

Usually happens in the morning on my way to work I stop at a light or in a drive thru and when I take off a couple seconds later the truck will die or when you press the gas does nothing and a wrench lights up on my dash. But i can turn off the truck and restart and it drives fine.. Has anyone had this problem

Go to your local auto parts store where they read codes for free. See what shows up, then post back.

It's something to do with your Electronic Throttle Control. Take it to a Ford dealer and have them get the codes.

There's a special electronic cleaner to use for the MAF. CRC Electronic Cleaner is pretty good. I also use CRC Throttle Body cleaner. Do NOT use anything other than Throttle Body Cleaner on the Throttle Body as you can take off the coating.

Don't use anything but MAF cleaner because anything else can leave a film on the sensor.
