FYI to all Foose and potential Foose Owners

Been dealing with my truck ever since I hit that deer. Well it's back and all is somewhat well. the main problem is that other than the body kit from 3d Carbon, there is no where to get parts for this truck. Specifically the upper and lower grille. My upper was cracked and they found a way to use the insert on a new one, but my lower was totally destroyed and now I have some off the shelf one that doesn't match at all. Well, after further research, the corporation that got the contract to build the Foose F-150 (Quantum Technologies) had a deal with Techstar Inc. (sister company) who used Wheel to Wheel to do the actual build. Now with that history, I just got off the phone with Mike from Quantum. He has explained to me that they no longer are associated with Techstar Inc AND that Wheel to Wheel, which is the company that actually built the damn truck, is no longer in business. He said to try Foose, but after countless emails from me and my dealer with no reply, I figure that they either
a. can't help, or
b. don't know/care.
I'm thinking of just chaulking it up as a loss and saving for a completely different upper and lower grille as I know I will not be satisfied with the current look. If anyone is in the Temecula area and can pound of the door of Foose Inc that would be nice and if anyone has any idea as to how to aquire parts for this truck, you help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to everyone in advance for hearing my rant.

sucks to hear that man....that's the issue with limited production vehicles. I would hope Foose would have some in backstock for owners such as yourself to keep the company name in high standing.

I can only imagine how hard it will be to find one if they don't have any. I have never seen a Foose addition in person. Good luck.

Thanks for the condolences. I will keep trying and see where it leads. This reminds me of the company Southern Comfort in TN that did Avalanches and other GM vehicles. They went out of business as well and I had a friend get into an accident and he ended up having to get a whole other body kit and his insurance ate up a hell of a custom paint job. Push come to shove, I'll have to go with a Grillecraft mesh or other make of mesh. I've got the meat and potatoes that makes it a Foose. I think I'll be able to live with a different grille if my luck doesn't pan out as long as they match. And 05BlackFX4, here you go. Just know that I'm waiting on my side skirts as the original owner took them off to put nerf bars on them. Older couple is what the dealership told me that traded it in. Needed the assistance to get in the vehicle, I guess.

I'll post some pics of the front comparisons here in a bit. Don't have any pics of the new lower grille yet.

What a shame, it's a sweet truck.
Keep looking. Maybe you'll find one.

Looks nice. Hope you find the grilles. Keep on Foose's email. There's a white one at work I walk by every day. Nice truck. I have one of those 3CD skirt kits to put on mine one day, still needs paint.

Send them a registered snail mail letter with a return reciept requested. That way if it is delivered you know for sure.

Hate to hear about your troubles. I spent about a year trying to convince my Durango driving buddy to buy the Foose at the dealership near our office! He just waffled until it was finally sold!! I think they look great and I hope you have better luck finding the parts you need.

BTW, have you tried contacting Josh or Domenic at Tasca Parts? They might be able to use their contacts to find your Foose parts.

That is a good idea and will probably do that once I wait for this last email response and hear from my dealer.

Harley grille
Haven't seen the Harley lower, but I don't think it's that easy or else my dealer would've found that. I'll give it a look though.

I will look at them today to see what they can do. Thanks for the name.

Just researched Harley's from 05-08 and the main grille on the 05 looks similar, but none of them have a lower from the pics I saw, so no luck there. Off to call Josh & Domenic. Wish me luck.

Just got off the phone with Josh. They have no contact with Foose, but he believes that he can locate a phone number for me which is a plus. He's gonna email me and let me know whether or not he can find it. Once again, thanks for everyones help so far. The quest continues.

This was THE main reason why I purposely requested the hood scoop delete and no body mouldings for my Roush Sport. Well that and the fact the Roush body kits looked too ghetto for me (my opinion though).

Thanks for the heads up. I was actually looking at grabbing a Foose.

It's a beautiful truck, but hell, if you have a Roush already, just get the 3D Carbon kit and you'll have it. Unless you "have" to have "FOOSE" embroidered on your headrest and the sticker signature on the back. Was actually looking at this one and a 500RC. Just liked the overall look of the Foose better as the Roush to me just had the front and seemed to lack on the skirts and rear.
