I own a 2006 F-150 Screw. Last year, the dealership installed a new fuel injection system and a new cat converter saying it was clogged for free. Last night though I got the wrench symbol and the Engine light. My cruise control won't work or turn on as well as my rpm's seem to jump at a constant spped, my mufflers go on and off on sound as if the engine wants to die, and my power is not there anymore? What could this be?

 

could be the throttle body. you need to get the codes scanned.

 

You need to get the dtc codes....
Otherwise we may just be speculating.....

 

I had this happen it ended up being my fuel pump go get the codes and figure it out if it is the fuel filter one and that doesnt work it is your fuel pump
